This is a wonderful, easy recipe. With using the sweet & condensed milk, there is no graininess of undissolved carbohydrate. You tin easily substitute the ingredients to brand a less fat diversity - which is what I did when making the first time. I substituted whole milk for the 2 cups whipping cream to cut back on the fatty, and information technology was nevertheless very flavorful!

I made this several times using the freezer method and it was flossy and wonderful. The only affair I changed is I only used 1 tablespoon of vanilla. Nosotros have added chopped fruit to it and poured it in a chocolate graham cracker crust to make Ice Foam pie. Great!

I made it with the freezer method. Taste is ten stars but yhe directions weren't real clear so I gave it a three. To Fold in the whipping cream means 2 cups whipping cream, whipped, which the directions aren't real clear well-nigh that.. I ended up pouring the mixture into my blender and whipping it until it was fluffier. Information technology was delicious. I added 1/4 cup instant java and a one/4 cup dark cocoa powder. It was mocha ice cream.

I dear this recipe! So incredibly easy, so I was thinking it can't be that good. Only it is! I dear how information technology doesn't crave eggs or cooking. Only dump everything into a bowl, stir, and put information technology in your water ice foam maker. The flavour is then rich and delicious. Upon kickoff bite my husband proclaimed "We're never ownership store-bought ice cream again!" Swell recipe. Quick, easy, and tastes great! I followed the advice in 1 review and used whole milk instead of one-half and one-half. I also added a mango puree mixture (fresh ripe mangoes with sugar) to the mixture afterwards it started to freeze in the churner. Yummy to the max!

I was a bit disappointed by this easy recipe. I followed it exactly, just once frozen, the consistency was like water ice milk not ice cream. It immediately melted in my mouth like milk. I'k all for like shooting fish in a barrel, but not later on I had another recipe that had one actress step but was oh so creamy and delicious. I used 3/four cup of sugar and 1 cup of ii% milk and beat out information technology until the sugar was dissolved. Then I added just under a tablespoon of vanilla and 3 cups of heavy whipping cream and poured it in the ice cream maker. I put information technology in the freezer for a bit before serving. It was so incredibly creamy that my husband told me it was the all-time he's always had. You get what you pay for....you lot want water ice foam...use heavy cream. My girl can't accept saccharide or milk (but she can have cream), so I substituted whipping cream for the half-and-half, and i loving cup of dearest plus 1/8 tsp of salt for the Sweetened Condensed milk. THIS WAS Amazing!!!! I was and then surprised that y'all only need a few ingredients. Just IT TURNED OUT So GREAT!! I replaced vanilla extract with vanilla faux, cause 2 tbsp of vanilla extract may be as well strong. It came out great! Tasted merely similar the Breyers brand ice foam. I don't have an ice foam maker, simply, what I did was first put the mixture in the fridge for half an hour, and so I put it in the freezer and took out every half an 60 minutes. I scraped the edges and mixed it. I repeated this every half hour till information technology got its skilful frozen texture. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS RECIPE!

AWESOME recipe! My husband kept fussing at me saying that I couldn't accept gotten the recipe right and I had to exist missing stuff. Accept away the half & half & use 1 pint of whip cream. After whipping the cream, fold in with the condensed milk. Very creamy. I made butter pecan by adding 3 tablespoons of butter, 1 teaspoon of maple flavor & pecans with the condensed milk. After folding with whipped cream, I put in freezer for 6 hours. Tasted only like butter pecan icecream. I didn't get any of the water ice crystals; maybe considering I didn't use half & half. I also fabricated mint chocolate chips.

I've tried several different homemade ice cream recipes and this is past far the best one. I actually used but one-half a recipe to try it out and in my Kitchenaid stand mixer, water ice cream maker zipper basin, the mix tripled in volume. I wouldn't practise the whole recipe every bit information technology wouldn't get as much air and might not be as light and creamy. I added pureed mangos as well equally peaches sweetened with nigh 1/iv cup of splenda. I also added a tablespoon of triple sec to make sure it didn't go as well hard in the freezer. Made exactly as indicated - strong condensed milk gustation, which reminded me more of a frozen vanilla dessert vs. existent ice foam. Much prefer a custard based ice cream using an ice cream maker. That said, in a compression, this may exist ok. My husband and in laws thought it was fine aslope the Grandma Ople pie (which is amazing if you haven't already made it), but didn't rave about it, which is what commonly happens with real homemade ice foam.

I found this ice foam recipe to be very tasty. However, I did change a few things. Instead of using 4 cups of one-half/half, I used 2 cups of half/half, 2 cups heavy whipping cream and i cup whole milk. I judge that'southward a lot of changes.

I loved that this was incredibly easy; simply cascade everything together. The sweetened condensed milk fabricated it very smooth and not grainy like sugar can practise. It tasted just like soft-serve ice cream y'all would get at McDonald's or Dairy Queen. That's not my favorite, just those in my family who love that idea this ice foam was the best! I similar more of the Breyer's taste and texture that you can go with another kinds of homemeade ice foam. I will definitely make this again, and try lower fat and add ins. The texture of this was corking for that, I recall. However, this recipe does not brand a full ice cream maker of ice cream. Luckily, ane serving was enough for me.

While very good, this does non freeze upwards quickly and will demand to end off in the freezer with stirring every 30 minutes or so to keep it from settling and getting stone difficult. For that reason I charge per unit it 4 stars.

VERY piece of cake! I thought OMG this is gonna be also sweet or too much vanilla! This was pretty good. A little on the sweetness side. I still think I prefer the Five Infinitesimal Ice Foam better. This one is a little similar a Wendy'due south Frosty. I'm planning on using this to make cookie sandwiches with leftover Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies.

This was my 1st time making this,i never made hm. made water ice cream b-4,my mother allways fabricated it, just i watched, and i was really suprised to how it came out. I discovered ane reason why this recipe might gets mixed reviews...I made the whipped cream version and information technology was amazing! Lite, fluffy, froze perfectly and totally delicious. It was so good information technology prompted me to buy an ice foam maker. I have made it twice since, once with half and one-half the second time with cream. Both times it came out soft and developed lots of ice crystals when frozen. Next time I'grand putting the gadgets abroad and sticking to the mitt made version - wayyyyyy better!

Wow. I used 2 cups garelick half and one-half, 1 1/2 cup 2 percent milk, 1/four tsp nutmeg, i/4tsp cinnamon sugar,condensed milk,1 tsp rum (so that when I freeze it information technology doesnt plow to ice) and vanilla. Yum.

Subsequently trying this recipe, I would take to advise users to calibration down the vanilla extract portion. ii tblspns creates a stronger than desired vanilla taste. Extract flavors in water ice cream are assuming and should be used with care. I would use 1 to i 1/four tablspns for a lighter vanilla presence.

I am making this ice cream right now in a Cuisinart water ice cream/yogurt maker that someone gave to me. I would non call this ice cream but ice milk since it is not the custard based ice foam and basically all you lot are using is milk and sugar. I have to say, I am someone who craves sweets every day and this is mode too sweetness ! I would advise somehow cutting corporeality of the sweetened condensed milk used in this recipe so that you use less, or peradventure add other flavors to cut down on the sugar. Information technology is so very sweet, I ate maybe 1/4th cup of the ice cream when information technology was done and I experience physically, like I merely ate a whole bowl of sugar, with milk on it, jittery and nauseated. If I make this recipe once more, I volition just use ane/quaternary loving cup of sweetened condensed milk instead of the whole tin can and possibly add fruit for a sugariness gustation. As far as an ice cream taste, this tastes like ice milk. Also the costs is far greater making this than if you just purchase a carton of Breyers on auction. Homemade is sometimes better in some recipes, but next time I will only buy Breyers or Edys.

OK, I did what lots of united states do...I changed things a flake. I used 2 C. half & half and two C. heavy cream and one tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. vanilla paste and of course the Eagle Make. I froze information technology in my Cuisinart ice-cream maker (the two qt. model) and information technology came out VERY skillful! No afterwards taste and information technology froze beautifully. Was the vanilla flavor strong? I don't think so. IMHO if you are going to become to all the trouble of making something from scratch so don't skimp...I used really good vanilla and cream and so maybe that's what this recipe is missing? Anyway, bottom line? I had really skillful results with this uncomplicated recipe and volition add information technology to my forever cookbook.

We only got a new Cuisinart Ice Foam Maker for Christmas and having never made habitation-made water ice cream before I an trying out many recipes. This tasted adept, simply later on I made it I froze it overnight. The resulting ice cream was very difficult, and tasted more like diet ice cream. I remember it needs more fat, maybe two cups half and half and 2 cups heavy cream. I tried making it in my ice cream maker. I had put the basin in freezer for over 24 hours and the ice cream wouldn't freeze when i poured everything in and ran it for 3 hrs. Then i ended up putting the whole thing in the freezer. Still turned out pretty skilful. I used Lemon extract instead of vanilla. Yum

This is a wonderful base of operations water ice cream. I've made information technology twice at present, once adding almond excerpt, marzipan, and slivered almonds and in one case adding peanut butter. Both times it came out amazing! I was in a hurry this past weekend and didn't want to fiddle with the eggs and a custard etc. I'll admit it, I fabricated this with low expectations for the end product-I felt like I was adulterous. Surprise! This was merely awesome! It took 2 minutes prep time, I merely poured all the ingredients into the cannister (though I did scrape a footling fleck of vanilla edible bean into the mix) and threw it into the bucket. The water ice and table salt process was more complicated than the recipe itself! Homemade apple pie with this ice cream was sublime! I'll be hard pressed to make the more complicated recipes again, yous only can't go wrong with this one.

This was awesome and I got complements from anybody who tried it. This was flossy and succulent. I followed the recipe and added a bit more vanilla, and used a machine! This was my beginning time making ice-cream and the reviews were good. I am glad I chose this recipe. I would highly recommend it to anyone making ice cream at home as it tastes but every bit good if not ameliorate than the store..skillful consistency too!Bravo!

Easiest homemade ice cream I've ever tried! This besides turned out to be delicious with a marvelous light and creamy texture. I fabricated vanilla only can't await to try another flavors. I made mine with my mixer and froze it in a covered container.

It's OK in a pinch, simply cipher is going to come close to going through the endeavor of making the custard with eggs and foam. Don't be fooled by the 5* ratings that many users are giving this recipe--ii.5* is reality hither. I might make this over again, simply knowing the difference of a custard based recipe, information technology'll have to be a terminal-minute type of scenario. (used my kitchenaid ice cream maker zipper for this recipe).

Super easy and succulent! I doubled the recipe and then it would work ameliorate in my 5 quart ice foam maker and I added 1/two cup of cocoa, used half and half, and used fat free sweet and condensed milk. It took my maker about one hour to finally cease turning and when I opened the chapeau it looked like the consistency of a Wendy'southward frosty. My husband and I love it. Will brand it again!

This is good, only nearly Likewise creamy! (sounds weird, I know!) Perhaps side by side time I will switch out some of the cream for more than half & one-half. My kids honey it!

It is easy, and if you don't want to pay for the expense of heavy cream, this is a passible recipe. It does crystalize after you deep freeze it simply the flavor is very good and y'all can tweak it with all kinds of additions, if desired. I added cardamon to it and information technology was wonderful.

I think this recipe is super-easy to prepare and the tastiest as well! It has the perfect amount of sugariness, I'd compare it to the Breyer's vanilla - it's swell on its own or volition be a perfect vanilla base for creating your own rocky road mix. I wouldn't change a thing and rated this 5 stars.

Woo hoo! This is delish, and then like shooting fish in a barrel. This was the offset recipe I used in my new icecream maker, and it worked beautifully. I added i/two C Cocoa to brand it chocolate.
