Skyrim How To Use Display Case

Deplorable if this has been brought up before, simply are the Display cases in Lakeview Manor bugged? I can open and close them, merely I can't actually put anything in them.

You must physically driblet and option up objects , lift , and identify it in display instance.

Please note that while many objects will remain in cases , many others will be ejected from example when you return later.
Trial and error for me to come across what stays put and what doesn`t.

I personally haven't tried using the display cases even so. I've had no bug with mannequins, racks, or cupboards though. Seems like they should have that sort of bugginess worked out past now though, doesn't it? :/

Aforementioned problem here with weapon racks. I hung my Nightingale sword in one of those and it disappeared (!). Information technology never returned. :'-(

Non all items volition brandish properly. This is what works all-time for me.

Lets say I want to put a dagger in a small display case. I'll drop the dagger on the footing. Leave the house and so it autosaves (xbox). Walk back in the house then place it in the display case.

This works.

I call up it's ridiculous they don't just allow u.s.a. identify items in a display example from our inventory, like when nosotros use a volume shelf. And when y'all drop items, they don't want to land where yous're aiming. I have the cantankerous hairs aimed at the open display case, and the items I drib seem to go everywhere but. I tried to do this with valdr'southward lucky dagger, and lost it, never to be seen again. I suppose it'southward stuck inside a furniture or something where I can't come across or reach it.

I have establish this to exist very irritating. I was very confused at offset afterwards spending quite a long fourth dimension decorating my business firm and dragging items into proper positions. I would and then leave my firm and come up dorsum later and see everything all over the floor in a huge mess. I thought the kids were doing it or something. I didnt know i had to drop all of my items i wanted set upwards on the footing, then leave the house and come dorsum in then put them upward.

Its fifty-fifty more irritating trying to drag a big sword or statue to table and display case and position it merely correct and avoiding knocking over everything nearby in the process.I think in that location needs to be a new patch to fix this. It should let simple decorate mode with pointer options on the item that you tin can properly drag to the spot you lot want it to be without knocking anything over and without the heavy statues ending up laying on the table sideways or upside down.

I had these Dwarven Swords of Devouring and the Dwarven Sword of Burning I got during the ceremonious state of war questline and I had them in a weapons rack in the entrance of Windstad Manor and every time I came dorsum it would be higher and higher until it was sticking into the roof of the business firm. Eventually it disappeared completely.

Practise these bugs simply utilize to consoles? I am using the Display Cases every bit well and I am not experiencing whatsoever bug with them for and then far on PC. But getting the swords in the Display Cases etc. is a very abrasive thing to do.
